Note from Sue
It's
Spring in the Northern hemisphere and a time of celebration for many
of us. As we emerge from hibernation we celebrate both the warmer
days and reconnecting with people. I don't know about you, but
there's something about booking a conversation on a sunny patio that
makes the getting together all that much more inviting. The
gardeners among us are also rejoicing in the long-awaited feeling of
having dirt under our finger nails.
Recently I've been actively promoting an event to celebrate
the impact of coaching in organizations. I'm a member of the 2006
PRISM Award Committee for the International Coach Federation- GTA.
On May 12th at the Yorkville Marriott, we are thrilled to
have a keynote presentation by leadership expert and author, Lance
Secretan, followed by presentations by Bell Canada,
SMB Marketing,
Campbell Company
of Canada, Grant Forest Products and Kent Legal. These 4
organizations and their coaches are being honored for significant
business achievements through coaching as a leadership strategy. See

I've
recently had the opportunity to celebrate my business
alliance with Freedom Signature Spas in Burlington, Ontario. I had
the honor of being interviewed on TVCogeco's
Women on The Go
program, which spotlights women business owners in the Burlington,
Ontario community. The interview was hosted at Freedom Signature
Spas, enabling me to talk about the collaborative business
initiatives we are establishing. Stay tuned for more news!
This
season, I am also looking forward to celebrating a significant
milestone for my business. June, 2006 is Development by Design's
10th anniversary! It's been an absolute delight to
work with clients and collaborative associates over this past
decade. It's been a particular pleasure for me to see how our work
together has evolved over time.
For
