Note from Sue
According to
the calendar, Spring is officially shifting to Summer in the
Northern Hemisphere. Though in the Toronto area this season has
brought constant weather surprises to keep us on our toes. So far
I've sported a ski jacket and down mittens to my daughter's soccer
game one week, a tank top to the next, and a turtle-neck sweater the
week following. 'Variety is the spice of life' seems to be the
mantra of the weather reporter these days!
Variety is a
theme in my business of-late that I greet with considerably more
relish. I'm currently enjoying a delightful mix of one-on-one
coaching initiatives with corporate, entrepreneurial and career
coaching clients. I've also been having a great time helping
business teams do their best work with one another and demonstrate
leadership in their organizations. As well, I've been enjoying a
resurgence of interest in 360-degree feedback. Additionally, I am
spending time in collaborative research with a U.S. colleague of
mine, Gina Columna, President of G-Force International. You can read
more about this research in my "Feature Blog Post" below.
In my previous Newsletter I announced that I am marking the 10th
anniversary for Development by Design this month. Our celebration
has been postponed, however, to September 28th , 2006, to enable
some special client organizations to attend the event. I look
forward to raising a toast to as many of you who can join as
possible and I will certainly share a virtual toast with those of
you who are at a great distance.
